| Description | The invited plenary lecture mapped current trends in the emergence and development of self-harm in a non-clinical population during adolescence. It presented the key psychological models explaining the emergence and maintenance of this phenomenon associated with high-risk behaviors, addressed the main causes of its emergence and development, the most common motivational drivers, age and gender specificities, as well as prevention options and current trends in treatment. |
