Description | In Smart Cities, there are various contexts and dynamic changes that create complexity and uncertainty for designing the city services. The lack of contextual analysis can cause this to understand how a city should be prepared to accommodate various contexts. Therefore, in this paper, we take the lens of viable systems approach and analyze how the systems and contexts are interconnected and affecting each other. The understanding of the way of connectivity among systems and context will be presented as a critical aspect of city resilience; however, the paper will reflect the position of resilience in the environment of other goals and services of the city. This paper further revisits the smart city layers and services to highlight the connections among different services. To address the contextual changes, to cover the problems with the management of such a complicated environment, IT Service Management applications will be presented. |
