Description | Purpose: To analyze whether previously diagnosed common comorbidity (diabetes mellitus, myocardial infarction, ischemic stroke, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or prior malignancy in complete remission (CR) are independent risk factors afecting survival of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with transarterial chemoembolisation (TACE). Conclusion: Patiens with HCC treated with TACE and a history of mentioned comorbidities or other malignant tumor in complete remission have non-inferior survival compared to patients without comorbidities. |
