| Description | The newly synthesized substances that are the subject of this study are direct structural analogues of active substances synthesized earlier differing in the phenyl substitution. 40 derivatives with multiple substitution of both electron-donating and electron-accepting groups were synthesized and characterized, and the antimicrobial activity against gram-positive bacteria of the genus Staphylococcus was determined. Some derivatives have shown excellent activity comparable to the clinically used antibiotics ampicillin and ciprofloxacin. |
