| Description | Information and communication technologies play a very important role today. The pandemic period in particular has shown the importance of the development and progress of computerisation in all spheres of public administration. Egovernment has become even more important in the last two years as a result of the pandemic measures. It has shown how important it is to set up electronic communication not only between citizens, companies, but also the state. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the process of electronicisation of sick leave and its impact on the activities of physicians, employers and employees, and to identify problem areas that emerge after its introduction. Based on a questionnaire survey, it was found that the whole process was accelerated and thus sickness benefits were paid faster. The main benefits of computerisation are seen by doctors as simplification of the process, saving administration and time. |
