| Description | This collection of papers is the outcome of the conference "Crimes against freedom and human dignity yesterday and today", which took place on 6 September 2023 at the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University. The thematic focus of the papers in this proceedings is on a wide range of crimes against freedom and human dignity. They include historical examples and analyses that help us understand how these issues have evolved in the past and how they have influenced the current legal framework. They also focus on the current issues we face today. As in the past, the contributions in this volume have been organised into two parts: a historical-legal part and a part on the current legal framework in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. |
