| Description | The paper deals with metaphors, phraseology and idioms in relation to the everyday communication of a native speaker of the Czech language. The results of the research in the literature are supplemented by a number of concrete examples from practice, which prove the (mostly unconscious) use of metaphors, phraseology and idioms in everyday oral and written communication by native speakers. |
