| Description | The paper analyses Marian motifs in selected works by the Catholic-oriented rural artist František Křelina. The selected works The Keys of the Kingdom (1939) and The Royal Daughter, Blessed Agnes of Bohemia (1940) connect the time-space of Czech history and to some extent also the rural environment. The paper reflects on specific motifs and presents arguments that either confirm or refute whether or not these are Marian motifs. |
