Description | Night-to-day blood pressure ratio with a less marked decrease in night-time blood pressure led to an increase in cardiovascular outcomes and it was described in 1988 by O‘ Brien at al. (1). In our earlier studies we have described from seven day/24 h ambulatory blood pressure measurement large variability of circadian blood pressure profile in every subject (2-10) and also large variabiliy in night-to-day ratio (11). The aim of the present study was to examine night-to-day blood pressure variability in two repeated seven day/24 h ambulatory blood presure monitoring in patients with coronary heart disease. |
