Description | The contribution is focused on the concept/metaphor “a person playing a role” in sociology (especially in Czech environment) and the confrontation with the research in the field of acting. Although it may seem that theatre studies have constituted variants of the relations actor/actress-his/her role (see Diderot, Stanislavsky, Brecht, Copeau, Jouvet or Grotowski), the current research in the field of cognitive sciences opens new perspectives of understanding this phenomena. Dyadic concept actor/actress-his/her role that is widely used in social sciences appears outdated metaphor, having support in scientific investigation of the 19th century. Current research prefers triadic concept of relationship author-actor-role, role-actor-spectator, text-actor-actor creation. |
