• Description: The lecture presents recent research on the German poetry of Kristijonas Donelaitis, which has revealed many unexpected aspects of this poetry and hitherto unknown facts. The philological and textual reconstruction of the poems corrects the chronology and genre identification of these texts and significantly changes the overall picture of Donelaitis' work.
