| Description | The dance aesthetics of a given historical period are often recognizable only from theatre photographs. This contribution is an attempt to formulate a theory on the basis of which one can interpret a dance work and characterize the dance aesthetics of the past. It does not present specific examples, but tries to prepare a theoretical research for a specific theatrical research. |
