Description School catering facilities are for the vast majority of children and adolescents a place they visit at least once a day. Regardless of satisfaction they should feel confident that the food they receive is suitable for them safe and wholesome for them. However, what is safe for one can be life-threatening in the extreme for another. The speech is of boarders who attend school with their peers, but are prevented from eating together by an illness that requires dietary dietary modifications. Without the help of the school catering facilities and the willingness of staff to prepare a dietary meal, or to reheat a meal brought from home, these boarders may find themselves in a situation where they cannot provide their own meals. The problem occurs when parents need their child to attend school or have afternoon classes or after-school clubs. In addition to the above, absence from lunch results in exclusion from the class. This document should thus serve as a guide to guide each school catering establishments through the preparation and practical implementation of a dietary food service, touching on the most important topics and helping with practical aspects of dietary food preparation.
