| Description | The chapter contributes to a volume which brings together European Laboratory Schools in their joint effort to promote democratic education principles through participatory research. The text presents the philosophical and theoretical backgrounds on which the first Czech laboratory school is based and reports on the current inquiry done into the key research principles of Laboratory schools, i.e. transdisciplinarity, collaboration, experimentation, transformativity and social responsibility. |
