Description | This lecture addressed the development of modern state administration within the context of the significant 19th century, emphasizing the transition from pre-modern state structures. Special attention was given to the 19th century, a period marked by the establishment of constitutional foundations for modern administration and judiciary. The specifics of administration in Czechoslovakia were discussed, including challenges related to border formation and the administration of the Těšín region. The lecture also shed light on the relationship between the state and the Church following the Josephinian reforms and the struggles over interpreting the legacy of Jan Hus and finding a modus vivendi. |
