| Description | This article aims to present the current legal and professional regulation of advertising in the legal professions and to assess its necessity in view of the legitimacy of interference with freedom of enterprise and expression. The article is based on the premise that the strictness and constraints of advertising regulation should be proportional to the intensity of competition. In other words, legal professions that have to compete most for clients should have the greatest freedom in terms of their promotion. Otherwise, there is a risk that they will resort to tools and practices that are currently not regulated by law, or even to unfair commercial practices. |
