| Description | Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, immune-mediated neurological disease of the central nervous system. The inflammatory process and inflammation-triggered neurodegeneration play an important role in the pathogenesis of the disease. B-lymphocytes are thought to be the key factors responsible for tissue involvement. In recent years, attention has therefore focused on the development of anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies that selectively deplete B-cells. |
