| Description | The chapter focuses on copyright license agreements, exploring various aspects of licensing agreements, including the distinction between contractual and unauthentic licenses, and the differentiation between exclusive and non-exclusive licenses. Furthermore, the chapter sheds light on the legal regulation of licenses in the Czech legal order since 2014 and significant changes introduced by amendments in 2023. The approach to licenses is also discussed from a practical perspective, emphasizing their importance for the economic valorization of the work and adaptation to the digital environment. Finally, the chapter examines the terminology and specifics of individual licensing commitments, such as sublicensing and the assignment of licenses, and addresses the form and establishment of the license agreement, etc. |
