| Description | The handbook serves as a guide to engage selected stakeholder groups in a socially just low-carbon transition process. The literature and empirical experience show that the involvement of different groups of people in influencing the shape of the transformation process helps to improve the social and environmental situation, especially in long-term structurally disadvantaged regions (in the Czech Republic, mainly the Ústí nad Labem, Karlovy Vary and Moravian-Silesian regions). The methodology, supported by its own empirical testing, describes how to identify and contact these groups, how to obtain the necessary information from them and how to take into account their needs, possibilities and preferences during the transformation, for example in terms of their future employment. |
