| Description | Research focuses on drug absorption outside the stomach due to the instability of many drugs in its acidic environment. A simple lab process coats DRcapsTM hard capsules with enteric polymers. These capsules, filled with caffeine, are immersed in Eudragit® S 100, Acryl-EZE®, and Cellacefate dispersions at three different concentrations, then dried. The goal is to identify the optimal polymer type and concentration for delayed release, evaluated via a two-step pH change disintegration and dissolution test. |
