Description | The presentation introduces a study based on a theory-based support program for the development of self-assessment. The aim is to present the characteristics of the self-assessment statements collected from 14 prospective teachers of German as a foreign language at the beginning and at the end of their participation in this support program. The "Lautes Erinnern" method was used for data collection and content analysis according to Mayring (2010) was used for analysis. The results show that although the development process of self-assessment is quite individual, the analysis of the self-assessment statements reveals some common features of this process - such as focused aspects of performance and their level of evidence. The aim of the presentation is also to contribute to the discussion on possible implications for the promotion of self-assessment in teacher training. |
