Description | A study of cave and precipitation waters in the Amaterska Cave (Moravian Karst, Czech Republic) was conducted from August 2020 to January 2023. Isotopic analyses were performed on 127 samples from six cave sites and 23 precipitation samples. A local meteoric water line for Olomucany was established. Three groups of cave drip waters were identified based on isotopic composition. Seasonal differences in isotopic composition were observed in some drips and a pool, providing insights into water residence time and sources. The dataset was compared with previous studies, offering broader understanding of local karst hydrology and the connection between cave waters and external precipitation. |
