Description A new [Fe-(mu-NCS)(2)(H2O)(2)(nicotinamide)(2)] complex was synthesized and characterized. The structure is characterized by IR spectroscopy, TGA, single crystal X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements. Further, the quantitative intermolecular interactions analysis and interactions energy calculation has been also carried out through Hirshfeld surface analysis. The X-ray structure revealed that complex is comprised of one unit in which iron atoms are connected through two nitrogen atoms from nicotinamide molecule, two nitrogens from thiocyanate ligand and two oxygen from water molecules.
