| Description | The organization and scope of public prosecution changed after November 1989. The original prokuratura, which was independent of the executive and judicial powers, but showed signs of excessive internal centralism, was replaced by the public prosecutor's office. This was related to significant organizational and personnel changes and changes in competence in relation to criminal proceedings. |
