| Description | The paper presents the first record of the benthic cladoceran Alona elegans Kurz, 1875 (Cladocera, Chydoridae) in the Czech Republic since 1875. The species was found in an ephemeral pool at the Havranické vřesoviště heathland in Podyjí National Park, Znojmo district. Moreover, the occurence of the critically endangered clam shrimp Lynceus brachyurus was confirmed in the same pool after 10 years |
