| Description | Stereotactic radiotherapy of prostate cancer is a new technique for the treatment of this disease. It is used as an alternative to commonly used fractionation schemes in curative indications when irradiating the entire prostate and part of the seminal vesicles and in palliative cases when irradiating distant pathways. It is particularly useful in the treatment of oligometastatic disease. |
