| Description | The study presents the most important results of the diplomatic-content analysis of the Book of Decisions of the Municipality of Prešov from 1762 ? 1776. The first section of the research was carried out as a part of the diploma thesis in 2021 ? 2022. The book provides a rich source of information about formation and functioning of the municipality. The authors describe the external and internal features of the book and focus on the various types of registrations, which it consists of. They pay attention to the issue of city self-government and the process of restoring the municipality. Closely related to this are the changes introduced into the functioning of the city administration in the 18th century by the monarch and state authorities through various control mechanisms, regulations and standards. |
