| Description | The presentation at the conference concerned Causal Uncertainty in Medico-Legal Disputes, where I propose a solution to the well-known problem of alternative causation in a dispute between a patient (plaintiff) and a doctor (defendant) for compensation for injuries to the patient's health allegedly caused by medical malpractice. I presented the results of my research: (https://journals.muni.cz/cpvp/article/view/37440), and led a discussion on the suitability of the solution with the conference participants, especially doctors and in-house lawyers of hospitals, representatives of VZP. |
