Description The rapidly changing world emphasizes that students should leave school equipped with key competencies that will enable them to participate successfully. One of these is the learning competency, an essential component of which is the self-regulation of learning, of which an integral part is self-assessment. This poster summarizes the methodology and results of a systematic review study that aims to present an overview of research findings related to the effects of self-assessment among primary and lower secondary school students. The results demonstrate that working with students' self-assessment enhances their active involvement in the learning process, promotes self-regulation of learning, and positively influences their learning outcomes.
