Description | This presentation explores the role of pedagogically productive conversations between teachers and researchers in promoting collective dialogue and higher-order thinking in the classroom. The project aims to shift classroom practices toward more equitable participation and deeper cognitive engagement. By analyzing teacher-researcher interactions, we identify key patterns in reflective discussions, focusing on multivoiced and generative dialogue. The study uses qualitative coding of conversations to reveal statistically significant relationships between different forms of pedagogical talk. Our findings highlight the importance of collaborative discourse in improving teaching practices and fostering student engagement. |
