| Description | The article deals with the issue of identity theft in the digital environment and its legal consequences. It highlights that with the development of the Internet and digital technologies, the number of cases of misuse of personal data is increasing, which poses a serious threat to the right to privacy. It describes the different types of payment fraud associated with identity theft and analyses the legal framework for privacy protection and legal defence tools. It also focuses on data leakage cases and the liability of data controllers. It discusses the possibilities of compensation for victims of these attacks and highlights the importance of prevention and legal protection in the fight against identity theft. |
