Description | The paper focused on the transformation of one of the literary formats typical of European university networks, namely ceremonial speeches. These were delivered at the festive occasion of bachelor and master graduation ceremonies. The paper explored the ways in which this literary genre was redesigned during the transitional period between the late Middle Ages and the emergence of Humanism by presenting the case of Prague university. |
