| Description | In my contribution I will present the results of the first prevalence study of EAN (violence and elder abuse), which was conducted within the RESTABUS project. This project is aimed at mapping the prevalence of abuse, exploitation, neglect, other violence and undermining of dignity among the elderly. The research was carried out on a representative sample of the senior population in the Czech Republic aged 65 and over living in a home environment (outside residential care institutions). It will present the prevalence of each type of EAN and show the most common characteristics of victims and perpetrators, along with the impact on victims. |
