Description Ignorance of the Czech language in the Czech education system is no excuse. If a pupil from a different linguistic and cultural background joins a Czech school, even if only for a proportional part of the year, after completing compulsory school attendance, he must take a unified entrance exam in the Czech language and literature and mathematics in full. However, the binding level at the end of compulsory and optional school attendance is not determined by legislation. It is impossible to motivate pupils with undefined boundaries, it is not possible to functionally educate teachers with regard to fragmented needs. Can setting a specific language level help Czech education?
