| Description | This article delves into the recent jurisprudence (case law) of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) concerning environmental protection. Particular focus is given to Joined Cases T-200/22 and T-314/22 (Poland v Commission). These cases address the enforcement of a penalty payment imposed upon Poland for its breach of an interim measure issued in Case C-121/21. The interim measure ordered Poland to immediately cease mining activities at the Turów mine pending the final judgment in the case. |
