Description | Following the October Revolution in 1917, many Russian intellectuals and scholars fled the country. Czechoslovakia decided to welcome them with open arms, thus giving rise to one of the most interesting experiments in this regard. Internationally leading institutions were born in Prague that had a considerable impact on research. |
