Description The presentation summarizes sociological data on parenthood and fertility plans in a descriptive form, with an emphasis on changes in the years 2020-2022. The data base of the presentation consists mainly of data from the questionnaire survey "Contemporary Czech Family". It shows to what extent there has been a temporary decline in fertility plans and to what extent this is a permanent phenomenon. The presentation emphasizes that the decline in fertility intentions was most significant among people in a precarious situation (low income, low education, rented housing).
