Description | The aim of this presentation is to introduce the Contemporary Czech family project, which is a part of the international Generations and Gender Survey (GGS). Thematically, this research focuses on families and partner and intergenerational relationships. The first wave of data collection in the Czech Republic took place between 2020 and 2022, and the start of data collection for the second wave is planned for 2025. The research thus offers opportunities for both international comparisons and monitoring changes in respondents over time. The contribution will be focused practically on access to data and examples of what Czech data offers in the field of research on intergenerational relations. Specifically, these are variables related to living together and contact with family members, satisfaction with family relationships, or intergenerational help with caring for children, the household, or one's own person. In addition to the survey itself, the presentation will introduce its outputs focused on intergenerational relations (research reports, articles, and leaflets with interesting results). |
