Description The lecture focused on the preparation and implementation of an anonymous questionnaire survey that addressed all full-time students at Masaryk University. Previous research has shown that there is a strong discrepancy between the knowledge of the target population group and its real behavior, which can be highly risky. Preventive action on university students is late and difficult due to already set values and attitudes. The research team, consisting of doctoral students of the department and their supervisors, repeated the survey focused on risky behavior patterns, their prevention, opinions, attitudes and needs of students. The project is designed as a quantitative study, and the snowball method was used to recruit the sample. Respondents filled out an electronic form containing basic identifiers, a section on substance and behavioral addictions and possible prevention. The university will receive a unique data package that will be comparable with previous surveys. The outputs will show what types of potentially risky behavior occur among respondents, what their opinions, attitudes and needs are in the area of preventive action, counseling and therapy.
