Description The paper focuses on the use of reading workshops in lower secondary schools and their potential to develop reading literacy, critical thinking, and a positive relationship with literature. It presents research on the current state of their implementation in schools in Brno, analyzes teaching methods and motivational strategies used by teachers, and proposes a methodology for effectively integrating reading workshops into the curriculum.
