| Description | The analysis focuses on how fertility intentions changed between 2020 and 2022, during the data collection of the first wave of the second round of the Czech Generations and Gender Survey. In 2022, respondents were less likely than in 2020 to report that they wanted to have a child in the next three years or in the more distant future. This decline was observed both in the general population aged 18-39 and among young childless respondents. |
