Citation
Description Using digital tools with learners of foreign languages with special educational needs helps automate and train vocabulary, language chunks and/or whole sentences. The lecture focuses on free digital tools available to teachers online, from learning apps, Flippity Excel sheets, Audacity, Screenpal, and Google Slides to Reading Progress in Microsoft Teams. It will show practical activities for SEN children and how to prepare them. We will start with simple audio activities in Learning apps, personifying activities for children through various possibilities in Flippity, using audio and video scaffolding in Audacity and Screenpal, and Reading Progress in Teams for practising and checking reading and pronunciation on the part of a student up to combining the tools when preparing Escape Games in Google slides.
