Description | Immersive virtual reality (VR) omnidirectional treadmills enable users to walk freely in objective reality while the movement is captured and transferred to VR. The use of such a device may potentially increase the immersiveness of the experience. However, there is also a number of potential disadvantages, such as cybersickness or overall discomfort in the VR treadmill harness. This paper describes a study protocol aimed at assessing the feasibility of using such a device with the application for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) exposure therapy. |
