Description The aim of the chapter is to describe and analyse the political regime of Czechoslovakia in the years 1918-1938, using the concept of resilience. The chapter focuses on the identification of threats that threatened the democratic political regime of interwar Czechoslovakia, the level of perception of them by the Czechoslovak political community, the form of their hierarchization, ways of solving them (see the concept of so-called strong democracy) and, last but not least, also the costs of these solutions resulted for the further development of Czechoslovakian politics.
