| Description | Up to a third of the world's population suffers from some form of anaemia. The most common type of anaemia is sideropenic anaemia, i.e. iron deficiency anaemia. Its treatment aims to eliminate the imbalance between the intake and loss of iron in the body. At the seminar, we will focus on the possibilities of pharmacological and non-pharmacological iron substitution, regime and dietary measures and the influence of associated diseases that can worsen anaemia or make even well-managed ferrotherapy ineffective. |
