| Description | Pain is a universal experience that requires the attention not only of doctors, but also of society as a whole. How is modern medicine coping with the growing crisis associated with opioid use? What are the new approaches to effective and safe pain management? Come learn more about one of the biggest healthcare topics of our time and find out how changes in the approach to pain can affect the future of medicine. PharmDr. Lenka Součková, Ph.D. is the European ECRIN correspondent for the Czech Republic. She participates in the implementation of the CZECRIN Large Research Infrastructure as a co-investigator. She is also an assistant professor at the Institute of Pharmacology, Masaryk University, with expertise in clinical research, methodology, regulatory science and education. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno and her Ph.D. in anesthesiology, algesiology and intensive care medicine from the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University. She is involved in a number of international grants, including those focused on education in the field of clinical trials. |
