| Description | This article examines the phenomenon of secondary victimization of victims of sexual offences that can be caused by law enforcement agencies. Based on the analysis of the legal framework and practical experience, the author Mgr. Gabriela Vyoralová emphasizes the importance of a sensitive and objective approach to victims throughout the criminal process. Particular attention is paid to the specific risks that can lead to a deepening of the psychological trauma of victims and suggestions for minimising these negative effects. The article also highlights the need to eliminate prejudices and myths surrounding victims of sexual violence, which should help improve the effectiveness and fairness of criminal proceedings. |
