| Description | The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of the position held by the bishops of Prague (and Olomouc) during the 12th century through a collective biography and partial probes. Specifically, the paper discusses the origins of the bishops, their relationships with the ruling prince, emperor, and curia, as well as their contributions to the development and administration of the diocese in legal, administrative, and liturgical terms. |
