| Description | Despite the rapid growth of eHealth applications and programs, their integration into regular medical practice in the Czech Republic remains marginal. This trend contradicts evidence of their effectiveness and appropriateness. eHealth tools can serve as standalone treatments or complementary therapies and are applicable in primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention. Although a significant number of applications are available, professional societies have yet to develop recommendations for their safe use. It is necessary to reassess the perception of eHealth in modern medicine and integrate these tools into all areas of healthcare, allowing for synergy between digital and traditional therapeutic approaches. |
