| Description | The presentation dealt with the development of the EU approach to the reprocessing of single use medical devices. The current European legislation on medical devices was presented and the results of a survey on its application in individual EU member states, including the Czech Republic, were quoted. The author reflected on the benefits of this trend, especially in relation to promoting sustainable management, and compared them with the health risks of reusing disposable devices. The author also warned against uncontrolled reprocessing of disposable medical devices in health care facilities. |
